We are thinking about relocating to Cyprus and purchasing a property but are not 100% sure about it. Is there any way you can help us? All we need is your name, address, email and contact details and we will keep you informed of properties which are available. It costs you nothing and you are under no obligation to buy. There is no pressure and we will do all we can to advise and help you along the way.
We do not speak Greek, only English, so wonder if your service would be fully appropriate for us? Our services are all provided in English or Greek. Our relocation agents are completely fluent in English and Greek.
Can I rent a property with only my passport, before I obtain any work or residence permits required? Yes, that would be fine.
We would like to purchase a property in Cyprus? Do you have plenty of properties available to choose from? We have thousands of properties available and you are sure to find something you love.
How can I arrange property maintenance services? Email us with your requirements. We have a dedicated property management and maintenance team who can deal with everything from holiday lets, cleaning, repairs, decorating, housekeeping and pool cleaning services, amongst other things. Everybody's requirements are different and we are happy to give you a quotation for whatever you require. See our Property Management/Housekeeping section on the Services menu.
We have booked the Total Relocation Package. Can we bring our car over with the rest of our property from the UK? What do you advise? Your family car can be brought over in the container with your household belongings or separately. You will need to ask the freight company dealing with your move on what they recommend.
What is the Cyprus currency? The Cyprus pound is no longer in existence. The Euro took effect on 1 January 2008. Credit cards are accepted throughout the island.
Can you help in furnishing our property? Yes, we have a fully qualified and experienced interior designer on our team who will consult with you and furnish your property according to your budget and taste.
What is the education system like in Cyprus? Education is taken very seriously in Cyprus and there are many international and English-speaking schools around Cyprus offering a high standard of education, as well as Greek-Cypriot state schools.
Is there English-speaking television? Yes, there are many different systems including cable and satellite, including Sky TV. However, the terrestial channels also have programmes in English and most films are in English with Greek subtitles.
Is English widely spoken? Yes. You will find that the majority of people in Cyprus can speak English.
Which side of the road do you drive on in Cyprus? The Cyprus road system is identical to the UK system and we drive on the left.
We are relocating to Cyprus next year. How far ahead in time do we need to book you? If you already have a date, the sooner the better, as it will give us more time to prepare for your arrival. It also depends on which service you will be booking. For the Total Relocation Package we like to have at least 6 weeks' notice, but we can work on much shorter timescales, if required.
